Commentary

The reverse of the seal is ambiguous. It could additionally resolve to Ἰωἀννου σχολαρίων or Ἰουλιανοῦ σχολαρίων. However it seems likely that it contains a second name, continuing from the καὶ of the obverse (indicated by the  below the Α, which is visible on this seal's parallel, 1955.1.31), and a genitive plural title of some sort applying to both.
