Translation

Θεόδωρον φύλαττε τοῦ Θεοῦ Λόγε ὅν ἡ σφραγὶς φέρει με παντὶ τῷ βίῳ.

Word of God, protect me my whole life long, Theodore, whom the seal presents.

Commentary

The inscription consists of two twelve-syllable verses, one on each side of the seal. Note the disjointed syntax of the inscription
