Bust of the archangel Michael, wings outspread, with a sceptre over his right shoulder and the globus in his left hand. Inscription on either side: μχ : Μ(ι)χ(αήλ). Border of dots.

Reverse

Inscription of five lines beginning with a cross. Border of dots.

I seal the letters of the hypatos Michael Diogenes.

Commentary

The inscription would be a correct twelve-syllable verse without the insertion of hypatos.
