Bust of St. George holding a spear over his shoulder. Sigla visible at left: |Γ|Ε|: Ὁ ἅγιος Γεώργιος. Indeterminate border.

Reverse

Inscription in four lines with a cross above. Border of dots.

Translation

Σφραγὶς Ἰωάννου τοῦ Κριτοπούλου.

This is the seal of John Kritopoulos.

Commentary

Note the mistake in the word σφραγίς in the inscription (corrected in the edited transcription above).
