Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ κέτῃ Γεωργίῳ.

Theotokos, help your servant George.

Commentary

The inscription in the angles of the reverse cruciform monogram is strange in that George is referred to as the οἰκέτῃ of the Virgin, not the typical δούλῳ; however, the two words serve the same function.
