Undertype

Borders of dots and lettering from a previous striking of the seal are visible on both sides. Zacos reconstructs a cruciform invocative monogram (indeterminate type) on the obverse, with Τ–Σ|Δ–Λ in the corners. On the reverse he reconstructs τῆς δύσε(ω)ς in the bottom two lines. Zacos' reading of the undertype is highly speculative and should be cited with caution.

Previous Editions

Zacos 1787.
