Translation

Mother of God, help your servant Euphemios hypatos, genikos kommerkiarios, and archon tou blattiou.

Commentary

Zacos reads the name as Euphemianos, but the two lines that begin second line of the reverse inscription are better read as the end of a mu and an iota. It is possible to reconstruct the ικ beginning the third line of the reverse inscription as belonging to "patrikios," but "genikos" better accommodates the space of the previous line.
