Translation

Mother of God, help your servant Eustratios, imperial silentiarios and kommerkiarios of the Peloponnesos.

Commentary

The secure restitution of the end of line 3 of the reverse is possible thanks to the specimen published by Laurent. It is interesting to note that the engraver omitted two letters in this inscription (although for the second omission, the Κ of καί could serve doubly as the Κ of κουμμερκιαρίῳ).
