Commentary
The restitution of the last lines is uncertain, but the traces of the bar of a pi are barely visible below the abbreviation mark and the pi of the third line; the spacing of the letters would conform to the reading given above. The 9th century seal of a Leo, imperial kommerkiarios of the Peloponnesos, is published by Laurent, Orghidan, no. 229.
