Translation

Νέμεις, ἀθλητἀ Χριστοῦ τροπαιοφόρε, σῷ συνωνύμῳ Πεδιασίμῳ χάριν.

Champion of Christ and victor, you dispense your grace to Pediasimos who shares your name.

Commentary

The restitution of the owner's Christian name as George is based on the inscription's appeal to a saint most likely to be identified from the epithets as St. George. So concludes Wassiliou-Seibt in her discussion of this and the parallel seal attributed to George Pediasimos, a man known from an inscription dated to the year 1288 or 1289. Note the use of accent marks and breathings.
