Commentary
In the obverse monogram, there seems to be remains of a Γ above the Ρ on the upper arm of the cruciform. If there is an ligature placed atop that, as is common, then the monogram would be rendered complex, and could be read Σεργίου ὑπάτου. Without this apparent Γ and hypothesized ligature, the reading of the monogram is either Πετρονᾶς spelled with an ο instead of an ω or Ῥεπαράτος, both of which are exceedingly less common names and less likely resolutions.
