Translation

Χριστὲ βοήθει τῷ αύτοῦ δούλου Κυρήνου μανδάτορος τοῦ ἐξκουβίτου.

May Christ help his servant Kyrinos, mandator of the exkoubiton.

Commentary

The invocation is unusual. It appeals to Christ for aid but is oblique and grammatically incorrect. We have translated it as a prayer addressed indirectly to Christ.
