Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει Ἰωάννῃ ἀπὸ ὑπάτων καὶ βασιλικῷ βαλνίτωρι.

Mother of God, help John apo hypaton and imperial balnitor.

Commentary

Note the engraver's omission of the lambda in the word βαλνίτωρι.
