Translation

Κύριε or Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ .... βασιλικῷ κανδηδάτῳ καὶ ἄρχοντι Μεσεμβρίας.

Lord or Theotokos, help your servant N., imperial kandidatos and archon of Mesembria.

Commentary

The first letter in the first line of the reverse has been read as a beta with an abbreviation mark (for basilikos), but it may just as well be an omega, in which case the reading would appear to be [spathar]okandidatos.
