Obverse

A bird, likely a peacock, walking to the right. Within concentric circles of dots, a circular inscription beginning at twelve o'clock:

[Κ(ύρι)ε] βοήθει τῷ σῷ [δούλῳ]

Reverse

Inscription of four lines (presumably beginning with a cross). Border of dots.

[Λ]έο[ντ(ι)] β(ασιλικῷ) (πρωτο)[σ]παθ(αρίῳ) [(καὶ)] ἐπὶ τ(οῦ) μα[γ]λαβίου

Translation

Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Λέοντι βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ μαγλαβίου.

Lord, help your servant Leo, imperial protospatharios and epi tou manglaviou.
