Translation

Χριστὲ βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλο Θεοδοσίῳ μητροπολήτῃ Χαλκηδόνος.

Christ, help your servant Theodosios, metropolitan of Chalcedon.

Commentary

Laurent read this monogram on the obverse as Κύριε βοήθει, but the letter on the left is clearly Χ, for Χριστέ.
