Translation

Lord or Theotokos, help your servant Constantine dioiketes.

Commentary

The obverse is largely illegible, but traces of a cruciform invocative monogram are visible, particularly the top of a beta at 6 o’clock and a horizontal crossarm in the center-right. A rounded element in the lower-right quarter could possibly be the lower element of a sigma, suggesting the invocation could read τῷ δούλῳ σοῦ.
