Translation

Lord, help your servant Michael (or Daniel), metropolitan of Chalcedon.

Commentary

In lines 1 and 2 (rev.), the name obviously could be read several ways: Michael, Daniel, or Manuel. As Laurent pointed out, a Michael is known to have governed the church from at least as early as 935 and 963/969, and a Daniel is attested in 997.
