Seal of the sebastos Constantine Tornikes.

Commentary

The owner may be identical with the Constantine Tornikes attested as epi ton deeseon in 1195 (and later, eparch, 1199) and as logothete of the Drome (1203). See Wassiliou-Seibt's remarks in the commentary to this and the related seals published in her catalogue.
