Bust of the Mother of God (Theoskepastos) holding the medallion of Christ before her. Sigla: Μ̅θυ̅ : Μήτηρ Θεοῦ. Epithet in columns on either side: ηθ|ε̣ο̣σ̣|κ,πα|στ|οσ : ἡ Θεοσκ(έ)παστος. Border of dots.

Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Τζουρκέλῃ ἑρμηνεφτῇ.

Mother of God, help your servant Tzourkeles, interpreter.

Commentary

The first letter of the owner's name is not clear. We read it as a combination of tau and zeta, but it may simply be an unusual form of zeta.
