St. Theodore standing, in armor and a cloak, holding a spear in his right hand and a shield with his left. On either side, the sigla: |θε|.|ρ|ο : ὁ ἅ(γιος) Θε[ό]δωρο(ς). Border of dots.

Reverse

Inscription of six lines beginning with a cross. Border of dots.

Translation

Κύριε βοήθει Λέοντα πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῷ Φυτιανῷ.

Lord, help Leo Phytianos patrikios and strategos.

Commentary

Note that the inscription switches cases from the accusative (Λέοντα) to the dative (στρατηγῷ, τῷ Φυτιανῷ).
