Γεωργίου βασιλικοῦ ἐργαστιριάρχου καὶ ἄρχοντος τοῦ βλαττίου

Commentary

We have dated the seal to the year 694 on the assumption that it was struck during the first reign of Justinian II (685-695) when he would have been portrayed alone. The indiction year shown on the obverse corresponds with the year 694.
