Commentary

The resolution of the monogram on the reverse is plausible but not certain. The letters are Roman and the owner's profession is given in Latin, but with a Greek genitive. If it is correct, it would offer an interesting example of an everyday profession ("butcher") on a seal, as opposed to a title or official function.
