Commentary
The monogram on the reverse so far defies resolution, in no small part owing to the corrosion of the letters. We read the owner's name as the Greek genitive of Diogenes (Διογένους), rendered in Roman letters. We assume that the letters should be read from top to bottom first, then left to right, as though the owner were crossing himself.
