Ironwork

Ironwork

This full-size detail of a bouquet was one of many designs intended to be constructed in iron. Farrand was specific in her design, labeling each flower as a tulip, tulip bud, rose, or rosebud. Other iron ornaments that were fabricated during this period include finials and details for Arbor Terrace’s gates, a wrought-iron floor for a balcony, and plant details for the wall fountain.
