Typewritten letter reports urgent business of a lot next to the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden is available for purchase and asks Mildred Bliss for approval to use the Director's House funds. Beatrix Farrand expresses favorable impressions have been made by Reid Moran, the new Assistant Director and by Sellar Bullard, the President of the Board of Trustees, Santa Barbara Botanic Garden.
