Commentary
This seal and BZS.1958.106.61 come from the same boulloterion. The reading of this punctured seal has been restored on the basis of its counterpart.
Note the small omicron inscribed within the Π in the last line of the reverse.
Laurent rightly attributed this seal to Tyana, the only metropolis called Christoupolis in the sixth century, and identified the owner as Paul of Christoupolis, attested in 536 (Mansi, VIII, col. 971A, 1143C).
