We note that the coupling of Macedonia and Adrianoupolis is also known from the contemporary seal of Stephanous patrikios, praipositos, vestes, and praitor of Macedonia and Adrianoupolis published by Mordtmann, Ἑλλ. Φιλολ. Σύλλ. 13 (1880), Suppl., 86 (=Sig., 111); cf. Konstantoupoulos in ΑΘΛΓΘ 2 (1935/36) 221 = 22 (1957) 268-69.
