Commentary
Probably identical to Michael son of Euthymios who was accused, ca. 1051, of conspiring against Constantine IX Monomachos (Skylitzes, 471). From another source we know that Michael's brother, Nikephoros, had actually been judge of the Thrakesion before that date (ActaSS November ΙΙΙ, 541).
