Translation
Lord, help John Gypsinos protospatharios epi tou Chrysotriklinou and judge of the Hippodrome.
Commentary
The owner of this seal is certainly the same John Gypsinos attested on BZS 1958.106.3448. Upon being nominated mystolektes, he replaced the obverse of his boulloterion and kept the same inscription on the reverse, as can be seen on the other specimen.
