Translation

Σὼν οἰκέτην με Δανιήλο.. σκέποις. Γραφὰς σφραγὶζω καὶ λόγους Κολλινάρι.

May you protect me, your servant Daniel. I seal the letters and correspondence of Kollinares.

Commentary

The reading of the family name is provisional and cannot be established with certainty until a better preserved parallel becomes known.

The inscription on the reverse is dodecasyllabic. It seems to have been the owner's intention to have a metrical inscription on the obverse but it falls one syllable short. Wassiliou-Seibt read the inscription as σὸν οἰκέτην με Δανιὴλ ἐπισκέποις, which makes a correct dodecasyllable, but it requires us to read what appears to be an omicron as epsilon. The problem is compounded when we see that there is room for two more letters after the omicron.
