Nicholas Hellmuth Maya ceramic archive
The collection consists of approximately 10,000 color slides and 5,000 black and white negatives documenting 1,658 objects from ancient Mesoamerica (predominantly Maya ceramic vessels) found in private collections and public institutions. All photographs are by Nicholas Hellmuth.

Researchers wishing to publish images from this collection must contact Nicholas Hellmuth for permission. Once permission has been obtained they may request high-resolution images from Dumbarton Oaks. Request images.
