Commentary
Note that this coin, as well as DOC 1:6, nos. 3j, 4a, and 4b, is an earlier issue dated to 491. All of these are inscribed TERP or PERP following the emperor’s name. Simon Bendall believes that TERP is a die engraver’s error.
