Translation
Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ ... πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ βεστήτορι τῷ Ἐλεγιάτῃ.
Lord, help your servant ... Elegiates, protospatharios and vestitor.
Commentary
From the limited space available in the third line of the reverse, we may infer that the owner's Christian name was John or Constantine, the standard abbreviations for which would fit into the inscription.
