Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει. Γρηγορίου σκρήβονος υἱου Ἰωάννου.

Theotokos, lend Thy aid. (Seal of) the skribon Gregory, son of John.

Commentary

The reverse inscription makes it clear that Gregory and not his father John, is a skribon.
