Mother of God, help your servant John Skleros, patrikios, anthypatos, and strategos of the Peloponnesos.

Commentary

The seal is mentioned in Laurent, Corpus V/2, no. 1389, and by Seibt, Skleroi, 102, no. 25, with a very tentative proposal for identification.
