Obverse

Bust of St. John the Evangelist, nimbate, offering a blessing with his right hand and holding a book in his left. Sigla on either side: Ο̣|Ε̣Ι̣|̣  Ο̣Ι̣|̣ : likely ὁ ἅ(γιος) Ἰ[ω(άννης)], but the inscription is unclear since the letters are largely illegible. Wreath border.

Reverse

Inscription of five lines, presumably beginning with a cross. Decoration at bottom. Wreathed border.
