Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει Ἀλεξίῳ πρωτονουβελισίμο τῷ ...

Mother of God, help Alexios ..., protonobelissimos.

Commentary

The final line of the reverse is too indistinct to offer a reading of the owner's family name. A seal of an Alexios Siaous, protonobelissimos, dated to the years between 1085 and 1095, may have belonged to the same man. See PBW : Alexios 20127.
