Translation

Κύριε βοήθει Ἰωάννῃ το Ἀμαγιρεύτῳ.

Lord, help John Amagireutos.

Commentary

In their edition of the seal Seibt and Nesbitt present the owner's name as "Amageireutos" and cite other instances of this family name. We have here followed the spelling of the name as it appears on the seal.
