Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Νικηφώρῳ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ στρατεγῷ το Τριακονταφύλλῳ.

Lord, help your servant Nikephoros Triakontaphyllos, imperial protospatharios and strategos.

Commentary

The reading of the family name is not certain; it depends on acceptance of what we take to be an abbreviation at the end of the penultimate line of the reverse.
