Probably a portrait of the Virgin, with nimbus, otherwise indistinct. No visible epigraphy. Border of dots.

Reverse

Bust of St Thomas, with nimbus, holding his right hand in blessing, a book in left hand. Visible at left : Ο|Α; at right : Θ||Μ, . ὁ ἅ(γιος) Θωμ[άς]. Remains of circular inscription:

ΘΤΣΔ,ΝΙΚΟΛ,

[Θεοτόκε βοή]θ(ει) τῷ σῷ δ(ούλῳ) Νικολ(άῳ)

Τheotokos, help your servant Nicholas.

Commentary

Reverse inscription corroded, hence it is uncertain whether the invocation reads Θεοτόκε or Κύριε.
