Obverse

Bust of the Mother of God orans, the medallion of Christ before her. Sigla: ̅θυ̅ : Μ(ήτη)ρ Θ(εο)ῦ. Border of dots.

Reverse

St Timothy the Apostle standing, offering a blessing with his right hand and holding the book in his left. At left: |τι|.οθ|..|. ; at right : ̣|Π|ΟΣ|Τ|ΟΛ|Ο, ὁ ἅ(γιος) Τιμόθεος ὁ Ἀπόστολος. Remains of a circular inscription between double border of dots.

Μ̣Ο̣Ι̣ΣΟΝΟΜ̣

... μοι σὸν ὁμ[ώνυμον] ...

Translation

... μοι σὸν ὁμώνυμον ...

... to me, your namesake ... 

Commentary

The part of the inscription preserved shows that it formed a metrical verse typical of those calling upon the saint depicted to offer his protection to his namesake.
