Champion, may you protect Theodore Doukas Laskaris, emperor and son of the emperor.
Commentary
The owner of this seal is to be identified as Theodore II Doukas Laskaris (1221-1258), the son and heir of the emperor John III Doukas Vatatzes.
The inscription consists of two twelve-syllable verses.
