Translation

Δέσποινα βοήθει μοι τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Ἰωάννῃ τῷ Ταρωνίτῃ.

Sovereign lady, help me, your servant John Taronites.

Commentary

The surviving seals of John Taronites indicate that he was active in the last decade of the eleventh century and the first of the twelfth: see PBW : Ioannes 20714.
