Translation
Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Δαμιανῷ βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ ὀρφανοτρόφῳ.
Mother of God, help your servant Damian, imperial protospatharios and orphanotrophos.
Commentary
Note in the second line that the abbreviation that should follow the letter alpha (for πρωτο-) was placed before it.
