The Mother of God (Hagiosoritissa) standing, turned to her left with her hands raised in supplication. Sigla on either side: ΜΡΘΥ : Μ(ήτη)ρ Θ(εο)ῦ. Along the circumference, an epithet: ηαγιοσο.....α : ἡ Ἁγιοσο[ρίτισ(σ)]α. Border of dots.

We have read the owner's office as protospatharios on the basis of a better preserved parallel noted in the Prosopography of the Byzantine World (cited in this entry).
