Obverse

Blank. Faint traces of lettering on the right and along the lower left circumference (likely the remains of an earlier strike that imprinted an image and a circular inscription consisting of an invocation).

Reverse

Inscription of five lines. Border of dots.

Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει Κυριακῷ νοταρίῳ.

Commentary

This seal is strange in that it appears to have been re-used and struck only on the reverse. The remains of an earlier strike can be discerned along the circumference but are too poorly preserved to be read.
