Translation

Θεοτόκε βοήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Λέοντι ὑπάτῳ καὶ κωμερκιαρίῳ Χαλδείας.

Mother of God, help your servant Leo, hypatos and kommerkiarios of Chaldia.

Commentary

This seal is similar in date to BZS.1955.1.1003, BZS.1955.1.1004, and BZS.1955.1.1005, but comes from a different boulloterion. All four likely belonged to the same owner.
