St Basil standing, turned toward his right with his hands raised towards the figure of Christ reaching in turn towards the saint. Sigla: Ο|Α|ΓΙ|Ο|ΣΒ|ΑΣ|ΙΛ|ΕΙ|Ο, : ὁ ἅγιος Βασιλείο(ς). Along the circumference, a circular inscription beginning at seven o'clock. No border visible.

Κύριε βοήθει τῷ σῶ δούλῳ Βασιλείῳ μαγίστρῳ κριτῇ τοῦ βήλου βασιλικῷ νοταρίῳ τῷ τοῦ φιλοσόφου τῷ Χασάνῃ.

Commentary
To be noted is the difference between the inscription on this seal and others struck by the same owner: here he refers to himself as τῷ τοῦ φιλοσόφου, which we understand to mean "son of the philosopher," in accordance with the wording on his other seals, υἱῷ τοῦ φιλοσόφου.
