Translation

ταῖς σαῖς πτέρυξι Μιχαὴλ τὸν σὸν σκέπε.

Shelter your servant Michael beneath your wings.

Commentary

Metrical inscription of twelve syllables.

The inscription can be translated in two ways; one in which it is understood that the owner's name is Michael (as we assume here), the other in which we take the name Michael in the vocative case and translate "Michael, shelter your servant beneath your wings," in which case the seal would be anonymous.
